Shipping & Return Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are processed in Canadian dollars. We accept Visa / V Debit, Mastercard / MC Debit, American Express, and Discover.  Unfortunately we do not accept money orders or wire transfers. All orders will be processed and shipped within 24 business hours.  All orders are shipped via Canada Post or UPS. Delivery times and pricing are available at checkout.  All items are shipped from our store in Toronto, Canada.

We are pleased to offer FREE SHIPPING (via Canada Post / USPS) within Canada and the contiguous United States on all orders above $250  - Applied at checkout. Shipping costs for orders below $250 will be calculated at checkout and charged according to weight. 

Please note that international parcels can and may be stopped at customs for further inspection. Commercial invoices are attached for this purpose. These delays are beyond our control.

IN - STORE PICK UP

If you live in Toronto or plan to visit our store, please indicate at checkout that you would like to pick up your product in store.  Items will be ready within two business hours after the order is placed.

Please note, that due to shipping / tax regulations our in-store pick up feature is only available to residents with an Ontario billing address.

RETURNS / EXCHANGES

If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from date received to return and/or exchange your product. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in its original packaging containing its receipt. Any item that shows signs of use will not be accepted for exchange or refund.  All sale items are considered final sale.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Any shipping or handling fees will not be refunded. Please allow up to 5 business days for returns to be processed through your bank.

All items returned are done so at the buyer's expense. If you are shipping your return, please provide us with its tracking number and reason for return at sales@knifetoronto.com. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  You can also return your item in store.  Please have your receipt ready for your return.

RETURNS WITHOUT RECEIPT

If you have misplaced or lost your receipt please call us at (647) 996 - 8609 or email us at sales@knifetoronto.com in advance and we will try our best to accommodate your request. Items that have no accompanying receipt may be subject to exchange / store credit only.

DAMAGED ITEMS

KNIFE prides itself in sourcing the best quality handmade knives from Japan and inspecting every package before it is shipped.  However, if for any reason a product is received damaged please contact us immediately at sales@knifetoronto.com for further instructions on how to process your exchange.

GIFT CARDS

We offer in store and online gift cards here at KNIFE.  Gift Cards are redeemable for merchandise only and are not redeemable for cash.  

Due to our new website and gift card policy, all gift cards issued before September 1st / 2017 must be redeemed in store only.  Cards sold after September 1st / 2017 may be used online and in store.  We apologize for any inconvenience.  For further questions please email us at info@knifetoronto.com 

CHANGING OR CANCELLING AN ORDER

Please notify us within 2 hours after placing your order to cancel it.  You may email us at info@knifetoronto.com or call us at  (647) 996 - 8609.  We will do our best to accommodate and cancel your order.  However if your request is made outside of the 2 hour window, the original order will be processed and shipped.

KNIFE reserves the right to not complete or fulfill any order(s) we deem fraudulent and that may pose a risk of criminal activity.  We appreciate the understanding.
