Coffee people know the feeling. You find a new filter, read a few opinions, watch a couple of videos, and suddenly you're deep down a rabbit hole wondering if your morning cup could be just a little bit better.
The problem? There are a lot of options out there. SIBARIST, CAFEC, OSMO, Hi Flux, HARIO. The list goes on.
Different papers, different flow rates, different ideas about what makes a great cup. And while you can read about them all day, nothing beats brewing with them yourself.
So we're opening up the shop for a filter tasting and testing session.
Bring your own coffee. Or buy a bag from us.
We'll supply the filters, the gear, and a place to brew. Put your favourite beans through different papers, compare the results, and see what changes. Clarity, body, sweetness, flow rate. Sometimes the differences are subtle. Sometimes they're not.
No need to commit to a particular filter or take anyone's word for it. Just come experiment, compare notes, and figure out what works for your coffee and your brewing style.

This is a free event. First come first served on the bar / table. Please be respectful of your time and make space and room for others. We will have limited space and gear (6 brewers at a time max)
