A Recipe to Get You Started

The Everyday Cup

Coffee: 20 g, medium-fine grind

Water: 250 g, just off the boil

Ratio: 1:12.5

Brew time: Approximately 2 minutes

Method

- Add your ground coffee to the brewer.

- Pour in 250 g of hot water, making sure all the grounds are saturated.

- Give it a gentle stir and allow the coffee to steep for around 2 minutes.

- Release the brewed coffee into your cup or serving vessel, following the brewer's instructions.

- Taste, adjust, and make it your own. If the coffee tastes too strong, add a little hot water. If it's too bitter, try a slightly coarser grind or a shorter brew time.

A simple starting point, not a set of rules. Different coffees will behave differently, and that's half the fun.
