Why is HIFLUX HIGH FAST Coffee Filter different from others?

“The moment you grind coffee, fine particles are created. These fines are a double-edged sword: they enhance extraction, but at the same time, they can become the primary obstacle to a perfect cup by clogging the filter and introducing unwanted flavours.

Conventional paper filters are composed of a random matrix of wood pulp fibers, resulting in a highly inconsistent pore size distribution. In contrast, HIFLUX’s Lyocell filter utilizes a unique 3D weave structure that significantly increases its capacity for fines.

Our team also found that micro-particles under 20 micrometers can positively contribute to body and mouthfeel. Based on this, we engineered the filters with a highly precise and uniform pore size to enhance texture and depth in the cup. Moreover, the Lyocell fabric improves the transmission of lipid-based compounds, further enhancing flavour clarity and aromatic delivery.”
