Introducing the Green Life Shichirin Konro Grill.
A small, self-contained charcoal grill—made to bring fire to the table.
Compact in scale, but deliberate in its construction. The form is quiet and functional: a contained body, an open grate, a place for heat to gather and move. Charcoal sits at its core, burning steadily, radiating a soft, even warmth upward.
It cooks differently. Not aggressively, but with patience. The far-infrared heat produced by the charcoal moves through ingredients rather than around them—drawing out moisture, deepening sweetness, and giving structure to proteins and vegetables alike. It’s a way of cooking that asks you to stay close: to turn, to watch, to adjust.
The insulated body holds that heat inward, allowing the grill to rest directly on the table—wood, plastic, or a simple protective sheet—without excess transfer. It becomes part of the setting, not separate from it. Something shared, rather than stood over.
Air moves through a small adjustable vent, feeding the charcoal and giving subtle control over the burn. Open it to encourage the flame; close it down to let the heat settle. A simple mechanism, but enough to shape the pace of cooking.
Over time, it will mark itself. The grate will darken, the body will take on traces of use—each layer a record of heat, smoke, and meals made in close proximity.
Care & Use
Before first use, wash and dry the grill grate thoroughly, then apply a light coat of cooking oil to season the surface. After cooking, remove residue and any built-up char with a nylon scourer or sponge and mild detergent. Rinse well and dry completely before storing.
