Regarded as some of the best constructed knives in the world his knowledge in forging and care of the craft show in all lines that carry the Fujiwara name. The Maboroshi line is one of our top sellers here at the shop. Its edge retention is unparalleled and the stainless cladding helps with easy maintenance. Fujiwara has mastered the art of forging with Shirokami. Definitely one of our favourite knives.
We've noticed a slight change in these knives lately. Fujiwara must have listened to his customers and have change the shapes ever so slightly. Thicker handles and larger profiles make these a joy to use. Feels like a more balanced short gyuto than petty - perfect for the line.
