FINETIME Coffee Roasters
Owned and operated by Takeshi Kondo, this small cafe and roastery has been serving up specialty lightroast coffee in Kyodo, Setagaya-ku, Tokyo, since 2016.
We roast the highest quality raw beans in a way that brings out the original characteristics of the beans. Experience a new coffee taste with a clean acidity and sweetness like fruit.
We purchase from micromill producers in Central America and from Nordic Approach in South America and Africa. Enjoy a variety of specialty coffees that vary depending on the season.
We use a Diedrich 5kg roaster to bring out the fruity flavor without the bitterness that coffee originally has. We record the roasting profile daily and always strive to roast consistently.
Owner Takeshi is a certified coffee master and Q grader, and won third place in the 2016 Japan Aeropress Championship. We will also give you advice on how to brew, so please feel free to ask us.
La Hondurita & Machuca
This is a natural-processed Pacamara coffee that the owner purchased in El Salvador. In recent years, the highly regarded Pacamara variety has sometimes been more expensive than Geisha, but it is originally a variety unique to El Salvador. It has a very rich flavor unique to Pacamara, with fruit flavors such as grapes, blackberries, and dark cherries, and the sweetness of cacao and chocolate.
