The abaca+ paper filters were designed for the professional barista. These have a faster flow than Cafec's roast profile papers.

As a pioneer of high-qualitiy paper filter, Nakatsuka wanted to find an answer with paper to this question; he continued to study paper construction and at last succeeded to develop three kinds of paper filters to control each proper brewing speed for light-roast, medium-dark roast and dark roast by changing the drying process of paper making.

Paper, but not just paper.
In line with CAFEC's environmentally conscious sustainable development goals, their Support Forest Paper (SFP) Filters are Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified as their production meets traceability standards of sustainable forest management.
Produced using a through air drying technique, SFP filters feature two-sided crepe texturing, with the inside crepe enhancing the total surface area to allow for fines adhesion without obstructing water path, and the outside crepe maintaining a cushion of air between the filter and dripper.
Together with CAFEC's fine-mesh paper texture, the composition of these filters promotes a stable and speedy flow of water for consistent brewing conditions.
