Naniwa Traditional / Standard #2000

Naniwa Abrasive was founded in 1952 and produces some of the finest abrasion materials in Japan.  Due to their hardness and quick prep time, we think that these are some of the best synthetic whetstones on the market and we use them almost exclusively in our in house sharpening service.  

Economical without sacrificing the quality that is known from Naniwa Abrasive.

Naniwa Traditional stones have a slightly lower ceramic content than the Professional line. We recommend these stones for slightly softer steel. Requires a short soak before each use.

This #2000 is an excellent daily maintenance stone. This is kind of like Green Brick of Joy Junior.
