1ZPRESSO | K-ULTRA

1ZPRESSO is a newer company out of Taiwan, founded by a group of coffee lovers with a shared background in engineering. In the words of 1ZPRESSO, 'we develop innovative manual coffee grinders with a passion for specialty coffee.'

1ZPRESSO grinders are designed for clarity of flavour notes for pour over or filter brews, while still being suitable for home espresso, aeropress, and french press brews.  

With their award winning design, 1ZPRESSO grinders all have an external adjustment ring and a new heptagonal 48mm stainless steel conical burr and dual-bearing shaft for stability and consistent grinds. 

All 1ZPRESSO grinders incorporate a quick disassembly design, which allows for quick and easy cleaning with no need for tools or recalibration. 

The K-Ultra is 1ZPRESSO's premium flagship grinder. The finer adjustment dial allows the user to more easily find their exact grind size. This grinder was designed to bring out the most complexity in your favourite bean. Suitable for all brew methods, but this is our number one choice for an actual manual espresso grinder. 

The K-Ultra is an upgraded version of the K-Max, with a finer adjustment mechanism than the rest of the K-Series grinders. 

There are 10 numbers/100 clicks in one rotation, and the burr moves by 20 microns per click. 

The K-Ultra has a foldable handle to make transport and storage a breeze. 

The K-Ultra grinder includes a

cleaning brush, air blower, rubber grip band, and flat case.

Grind Setting Reference

*Starting from 0*

2 numbers = turn clockwise to #2 (20 clicks)

4 numbers = turn clockwise to #4 (40 clicks)

6.5 numbers = turn clockwise to #6 and 5 clicks (65 clicks) 

12.3 numbers = turn clockwise 1 full round to #2 and 3 clicks (123 clicks)

Never clean your grinder with water. The brush / air blower is the perfect and only tool you will need for cleaning.
