Made by Aoyoshi's Vintage Inox line.
Vintage Inox uses a patented finishing technology to "distress" stainless steel. This finish is unlike any other finish we have ever seen. Truly vintage and classic. Food safe, and non corrosive.
"A feeling of age" to the stainless steel tableware.
The Vintage Inox line is a truly special line from Aoyoshi. Due to the handmade nature of the finish, no two products are the same. The distressed finish creates the impression that these items (artifacts) have been a part of your life forever.
Simple geometry. No ornament. Just form doing its job.
Vintage Inox Coupe Plates are spun and pressed from stainless steel, finished in classic inox for durability and quiet presence at the table. The coupe profile—flat center with a gentle, continuous curve to the rim—keeps the silhouette clean while providing enough lift to frame food without distraction.
There’s no fragile glaze to chip, no ceramic weight to worry about. These plates are light in the hand, resilient in service, and built to age with use. Stainless steel resists staining, shrugs off acidity, and handles heat without complaint—equally at home with a just-seared steak or a bright citrus salad.
Why they work:
Food-grade stainless steel construction
Coupe shape for modern plating
Lightweight yet durable
Stackable, space-efficient profile
Suitable for hot and cold service
The reflective surface subtly amplifies colour—greens look greener, sauces glossier, proteins more defined. Over time, fine surface marks will develop, not as damage, but as record. Like a well-used pan, they tell the story of meals made and shared.
These aren’t precious objects. They’re working pieces—clean, industrial, honest. A plate that disappears so the food can speak.
