Kalita was founded in 1958 in Nihonbashi, Tokyo.
The Tsubame drippers are made in Niigata Prefecture and are manufactured in tandem with the Made in Tsubame brand. These marks are only given to products that pass the conditions set by the Tsubame chamber of commerce.
These drippers are 100% handmade by artisan craftsmen in Tsubame-shi, a district in Niigata prefecture know for its incredible metalworks industry.
Kalita drippers sport a unique 3 hole flat bottomed design to allow for even extraction and consistent flow rate.
Use with the proper sized Kalita Wave filter papers.
