One of our favourite blacksmiths here at the shop is Takeshi Saji. Saji-san's knives are gorgeous. Working out of his hamono in Takefu, Echizen. Saji-san, in our opinion has created one of the most beautiful knives we have ever seen. Layering copper, brass and stainless chromium over an Aogami Super core has created an impressive style knife. But like many other Saji knives, although these are works of art, still considered to be a great working tool. With a rockwell hardness of over 63, these gorgeous knives are made to be used. Rounded off with a very comfortable Ironwood handle. These knives also come wrapped in a kiri wood gift box. Stunning.
Please note that due to the handmade nature of these knives, actual product may not be exactly as shown. Desert ironwood grains will vary from knife to knife. Contact us for further details.
Please keep this knife dry and free of moisture to avoid oxidation.
