In our travels in Japan, there is no shortage of fantastic coffee. We stumbled upon Suzuki's cafe on a random day and fell in love with his clean, clear approach from the first moment we walked in.

Whether you're starting your morning or enjoying an afternoon break, Townsfolk Coffee provides a moment of warmth, connection, and indulgence. Each sip invites you to slow down, savor the experience, and feel a part of something bigger—a community of coffee lovers who appreciate the art of great coffee.

We are proud to introduce this delicious coffee from Kanazawa, Japan.

The flavour of strong, sweet fruits such as strawberry and black currant. The syrup-like texture keeps the sweetness in your mouth forever. As it cools, it gives the impression of craft chocolate, and the coffee has a variety of flavours. This is a 'natural slow-dried' lot processed at the Washing Station (WS) in Hambela Wamena, Guji area, Ethiopia. The process is named after the method used in the drying process, which uses agricultural nets to extend the drying time. The goal is to tighten the raw beans to the core by gradually drying them, and to lock in the sweetness of the pulp as flavour. The coffee from this WS boasts extremely high quality, thanks to the cherries grown in a good environment of volcanic soil and shade trees, and thorough quality control by hand picking from harvesting to drying. Guji coffee is recognized worldwide as one of Ethiopia's leading producing areas due to its unique original variety and taste due to the microclimate.
